Consmin recognises that it has the responsibility to conduct its business with the benefit of its stakeholders in mind. Stakeholders include shareholders, employees, contractors and the wider community.

Consmin is committed to achieving a high standard of care for the natural environment in all of its activities, from exploration through to mining, processing, marketing and the exporting of our products. To this end, the company’s environmental management conforms to regulatory requirements, ensuring the timely reporting of environmental performance. All employees and contractors are required to undertake their duties in an environmentally sound manner and to consider environmental protection as one of their key responsibilities.

Consmin has agreements in place with the traditional owners of the lands on which the mines operate. These agreements promote the respect of the company towards traditional owners and aim to preserve culturally sensitive areas.
